Fire-escapes and outside stairways create interesting patterns and shadows and their shapes occasionally make you wonder “Why?” Some of them look pretty darn spindly and as for a wooden fire-escape – what the ... ?

Here are a number of each created in both steel and wood and very rarely both –

As you travel through various communities you may want to take a closer look at the shapes of these means of climbing higher or descending in an emergency – would you be comfortable using every one of them?

Chairs

We all take a seat, in many different places and on many different kinds and shapes of spots to place our derrieres and take a load off our feet.

Chairs of one sort or another can be found in many different places – some in which you might be quite happy to take a seat, others not so much.

It’s for you to decide which is which – 

 

Every one of these chairs has a backstory and a history, it's for us to imagine what those are. So sit back, put your feet up, let your imagination play and enjoy the end of summer.
